PHIX’s Executive Director, Emily Hartman, and Director of Programs, Juan Nanez, were speakers at the Global Health Conference, HIMSS23 in Chicago, IL. Our team presented on the value of clinician access to the community medical records through HIEs. This infrastructure decreased hospital readmissions and emergency room visit among those who utilize PHIX for patient care post hospital discharge.
